|
|

 |
|
Summary:
Easy to use Parental control Internet monitoring
software that makes it easy to help protect your
children when they go online, use instant messaging,
chat rooms or anytime children are online.
PC Tattletale Internet monitoring software
automatically records: All E-mail - both in and
outbound mail, all Chat sessions, all Instant
Messages, every Web sites visited, all Keystrokes,
Passwords, and Videos.

Features
The monitoring features are quite decent.
PC Tattletale will take screenshots every few seconds (this
amount can be changed) then arrange them into a slideshow when
you view them. PC Tattletale also monitors URLs, email programs,
chat programs, chat rooms, keys typed, and programs run. The
main weakness with PC Tattletale is that the only web browser it
supports is Internet Explorer. Another weakness is the absence
of any trigger-based monitoring.
Usability/Management
The
PC Tattletale management interface is
invoked using a secret hotkey combination along with a password
(set at install) at the computer being monitored. The user
interface is clean, and very easy to use and navigate.
PC Tattletale has a password protected control panel to select each
monitoring category and view recorded activity.
Detectability
We were unable to detect PC Tattletale in
task manager, add/remove programs, or the start menu.
Support
They have online
support videos, an online knowledgebase, and a trouble ticket
system.
